Admissions Counselor

June 2019 • Pocatello, ID

What I liked

I am still currently working in this position and I absolutely love it! Being able to work with high school students and help them be able to come to college has become my new dream career.

What I wish was different

Nothing, everything worked out great!

Advice

It has been a weird transition going from being a student to having a career. The hardest part for me has been having a healthy work/life balance. For the first month I would take my work home every single day and work for another 3 hours after work. Don't do that. It is so important to find a healthy balance and make sure you still have a personal life outside of work!
