I enjoyed the atmosphere of the office. I was given a lot of different opportunities to gain knowledge and experience in my field. I also got to network with a lot of people that worked at the company as well as people who worked for other companies. The company gave me a lot of responsibility with my individual work but gave me guidance where I needed it.
What I wish was different
I wish I had a project to work on for the whole summer. I was given a lot of little project that would take a couple of hours to a couple of weeks.
Advice
Start contacting companies you want to work for as a freshman or sophomore, even if they only hire juniors and seniors. I began talking with this company as a freshman and was given an internship as a junior. Other people who want to work for the company are only now starting to connect with them, and their chances of working for the company are slim.
