Employer Relations Assistant (Morning Shift)

The Employer Relations Assistant (Morning Shift) will have the unique opportunity to welcome and assist employers and students who come to Charlottesville to conduct on-Grounds interviews. The Employer Relations Assistant will provide administrative support and coverage for on-Grounds Interviews on the 4th floor of Bryant Hall in Scott Stadium. The Employer Relations Assistant will also learn about on-Grounds recruitment, customer service, and how to build relationships with employers. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7am-9am (Flexible Friday Schedule) during recruiting season
 
Qualifications
  • Must be available to work 7am-9am Monday-Thursday during the recruiting season 
  • 2nd – 4th years preferred
  • Extremely personable, customer service-oriented, and highly reliable
  • Detail Oriented
  • Strong communication skills are essential in order to represent the office and the University to the public
  • Excel & data analysis skills are a plus!
  • Problem solving, critical thinking skills, and a proactive mindset
  • A positive attitude and punctuality are crucial
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the changing needs of the interview program
Morning Shift Responsibilities: 7:00am-9:00am Monday - Thursday
  • Greet employers as they arrive and check-in for On-Grounds Interviewing
  • Assist in the morning preparation of On-Grounds Interviews
  • Oversee the student kiosk and assist students in the check-in/check-out process as needed
  • Reset, restock, and open interview suites as needed, set up and restock employer lounge, student lounge, and OGI lobby as needed
  • Other Employer Relations duties as assigned
  • Schedule: Average of 6 to 10 hours a week
