2020 Intelligence and Security Day Resume Review
Resume Marathon Info
Resume reviews through the UVA Career Center are a great way to gain experience and confidence with learning what makes a great resume. This is a resume review with volunteer alumni and employers during the Intelligence & Security Careers Day on Friday, September 18th from 10 AM - 12 PM.
Sign Up Information
Resume review spots will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Once you apply and you are fully qualified, you will need to select your time slot. Until you have secured a spot and it shows in Handshake, you will not be able to participate in the event. If you have any questions, please contact Andy at ac7zk@virginia.edu. The resume review will take place via Zoom. A zoom link will be provided to all confirmed participants on Thursday, September 17th.
Resume Review
This session will allow you to share your resume and receive professional feedback on its strengths and weaknesses.
Preparation
Ask for your resume reviewer's contact information so that you can send them a thank you note after.
Attire:
Please dress professionally as if conducting a real professional review for a job that strongly interests you. See our tips on professional dress.
Cancellation Policy Reminder
If you cancel your resume review later than 3 business days in advance of your interview date, your On-Grounds Interview Privileges will be suspended. Here is our cancellation policy for reference.
If you must cancel, please contact handshake@virginia.edu before 5pm at least 3 business days before your scheduled resume review.
