General Management Consultant (Full-Time)

A Day in the Life of a General Management Consultant at Booz Allen:
  • Assist with the acquisition and planning for implementation of a new technology
  • Support with customer or stakeholder analyses
  • Involvement with examining systems and developing specific cost reduction solutions and business case analyses to support transformation efforts under general supervision
  • Comprehend and have awareness of underlying functional expertise required to design and implement solutions leveraging any of the management consulting capability pillars, including organization design and mission support optimization, process improvement, performance management, strategy development and transformation, change management, and IT strategy and business architecture.
 
Example: Partner with a pediatric hospital to fight childhood diseases. Work with a large public health agency to get drugs to patients faster. Help the US Military support wounded warriors. And always look beyond the problem to the possibility.
 
These positions can be in Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland, or other key Booz Allen sites throughout the nation.
 
You Have: 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with working in a team environment
  • Experience with conducting data analysis of any kind, including qualitative or quantitative
  • Knowledge of problem solving and data analysis
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Scheduled to obtain a BA or BS degree in Winter 2019 or Spring/Summer 2020
 
Nice if You Have:
  • Experience as an intern, support contractor, government staff, or industry staff
  • Experience with summarizing and synthesizing findings in a written document
  • Experience with conducting data analysis of any kind, including qualitative or quantitative
  • Experience with conducting work quality reviews, including the work of others and showing work accountability and ownership
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills
