Cyber Security Consultant (Full-Time)
A Day in the Life of a Cyber Security Consultant at Booz Allen:
- Assist with building and growing existing cyber security offerings and the delivery of client engagements, including marketing and proposal development, delivery and execution, and working in a team environment
- Analyze and craft cyber security strategies for client base
Example: Study the minds of cyber enemies so you can fight back. Defend our nation’s infrastructure. Protect the mobile workforce. And help preserve the safety of our world.
You Have:
- Experience with security principles, approaches, and technologies in academic or internship environments
- Experience with Java, C#, .NET, or SharePoint development in an academic or professional environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Scheduled to obtain a BA or BS degree in Winter 2019 or Spring/Summer 2020
Nice if You Have:
- Experience with coursework in computer vision or image processing
- Experience with the design and development of an object-oriented system and Web development concepts, including HTML and JavaScript
- Knowledge of systems development life cycle methodologies and associated activities
- Knowledge of databases, including SQL or Oracle
- Experience with information security program frameworks, including ISO 27001/2, COBIT, or NIST
- Experience with UNIX and Linux
- Possession of excellent time management and organizational skills
- Pursuing a BS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field preferred; pursuing an MS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field a plus
- Pursuing or obtained Security+, CISSP, CISA, or related Certifications a plus
