Systems Engineer (Full- Time)

A Day in the Life of a Systems Engineer at Booz Allen:
  • Provide technical support in system architecture, system design, system integration and technical management for federal government and defense clients
  • Assist in providing technical input to the systems engineering process, help provide requirements analysis, and work with program managers and systems development contract teams to measure, track, and brief technical and programmatic risks and schedule
  • Assist with preparing and presenting systems assurance reviews, identify requirements and deficiencies in hardware and software products, and advise customers in product selection and use, capacity planning operations, and performance management
Example: Help build battlefield sensors. Apply digital forensics to automotive systems to track criminals. Work with the US Military to protect our airspace. Through it all, you will gain expertise that you can’t learn in school.
These positions can be in Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland, or other key Booz Allen sites throughout the nation.
You Have:
·      Experience with system engineering processes, management, and principals in academic or internship environments
·      Experience with working in a team environment
·      Knowledge of using requirements gathering and tracking to support IT system development
·      Ability to apply critical thinking to a wide variety of problems
·      Ability to obtain a security clearance
·      Scheduled to obtain a BS degree in December 2019 or Spring/Summer 2020
Nice if You Have:
·      Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
·      Pursuing a BS degree in Systems Engineering, CS, Computer Engineering, or a related field preferred; pursuing an MS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field a plus
