The most common path to Analyst is directly out of a top undergraduate program in Business or Engineering. With the mentoring of our leadership team, Analysts play a critical role in driving the analysis and design of solutions for our clients. Analysts operate with increasing levels of autonomy, are tasked to take on complex analyses, and lead parts of client engagements with companies that range from Private Equity firms to Large Fortune 50 clients.
Specific Analyst responsibilities include:
· Analyzing project financial results to guide management decisions
· Working directly with clients to identify and interpret key project requirements and converting these detailed requirements to easily understood guidelines
· Coordinating communication with multiple suppliers to help manage projects
· Analyzing supplier bid results, creating summaries, creating savings strategies, and presenting findings to management and clients
· Analyzing procurement processes and organizational data to drive client decisions around capability optimization and strategic direction
· Supporting process reengineering, organization optimization, and technology integration to enable companies to capture and sustain long-term cost savings
· Developing work strategies to effectively complete individual activities while accomplishing project goals
· Contributing to ISG’s strategic decisions and direction through internal initiatives
· Developing expertise in one or more areas of spend and/or procurement processes
· Achieving excellence in execution of projects and initiatives
· Exhibiting integrity in decisions and firm relationships
