Video Production Intern

Position summary
Are you a natural visual communicator? Do you find yourself shooting b-roll for fun? Are you one part creative, one part producer, and another part strategist? We need someone who can build and maintain a library of video resources.This internship is part-time (approximately 15 hours per week), and will last at least three months. This internship is a great opportunity to build a film portfolio while gaining some insight into the pace and culture of a creative business. 

Work you’ll do:
In your role, you will be responsible for:
  • Video content development for clients’ day-to-day communications efforts across all digital platforms in line with content calendars and micro-targeting strategies
  • Organizing, editing and producing photos and footage to create compelling stories and engaging videos
  • Working on special projects as needed
  • Concepting, planning, and producing both video content within brand, style, and targeting guidelines
  • Balance posting for all identified targeted target populations (based on behavioral, demographic, geographic, and psychographic segmentation), and support the tracking of effectiveness of each
  • Supporting the planning of campaigns and advertising content in line with editorial and content calendars
  • Supporting ad hoc videography, product styling, and graphics asset requirements for video shoots 
  • Supporting vlog planning and development with scripting, lighting, choreographing, and filming of educational and content-driven footage
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to create quality copy and visual content for all platforms
  • Self-starter with tons of initiative, creativity, and drive
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to work successfully with teams, independently, and under pressure
  • Good research, organizational and communication skills 
  • An interest in and understanding of the production/post-production process 
  • A functioning knowledge of general editing procedures Camera (both still and video) experience 
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Experience with Adobe suites (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Familiar with marketing research and measurement best practices
  • Bilingual, English and at least one other language
