Digital Photographer Internship

Position summary
Are you the next Ansel Adams? Do you pry your friends to be your studio models? We need someone who can build and maintain a library of photo resources.This internship is part-time (approximately 15 hours per week), and will last at least three months.
This internship is a great opportunity to build a photography portfolio while gaining insight into the pace and culture of a creative business.

Work you’ll do:
In your role, you will be responsible for:
  • Photo content development for clients’ day-to-day communications efforts across digital platforms in line with content calendars and micro-targeting strategies
  • Organizing, editing and producing photos to create compelling stories and engaging campaigns
  • Planning photo content for banners, blog posts, web media, advertising media, hero images, tableaus, and supplemental b-roll 
  • Maintaining file size specification guidelines and formatting images in various ways for digital distribution, social media, print, etc.
  • Concepting, planning, and producing photo content within brand, style, and targeting guidelines
  • Supporting the planning of campaigns and advertising content in line with editorial and content calendars
  • Supporting ad hoc photography, product styling, and graphics asset requirements for photo shoots 
  • Working with a team alongside stylists taking digital product stills
  • Ensuring that all subjects are lit correctly, efficiently and creatively, in accordance with Motivf and/or client guidelines
  • Producing high quality and consistently beautiful images, ensuring they are correctly exposed and color consistent
  • Accurately archiving images to be easily accessed by other teams
  • Preparing sets, checking that all equipment is functioning, setting up appropriate lighting and keeping accurate daily shoot records
  • Meeting daily/weekly deadlines to prepare new website material
  • Responsible for upkeep of photo equipment, props and supplies
  • Maintaining digital asset files and structure organization
  • Working on special projects as needed
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to create quality visual content for all platforms (pixel to print conversion, resolution, etc)
  • Self-starter with tons of initiative, creativity, and drive
  • Willingness to spend days on the move
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to work successfully with teams, alone, and under pressure
  • A functioning knowledge of general editing procedures Camera (both still and video) experience 
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Adobe suites (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Familiar with marketing research and measurement best practices
  • Bilingual, English and at least one other language
