CMG’S SUMMER ASSOCIATE PROGRAM
We are looking for undergraduate juniors who display our “curious thinker and adaptive doer” mentality in business consulting. Our program provides Summer Associates the opportunity to work on three kinds of projects: client work, internal initiatives, and a Summer Associate final project. This diverse workload enables students to experience a full-time employee’s responsibilities and practice effective time management, while diving deep into industry and consulting environments. Our goal is to provide Summer Associates with full-time Associate offers upon graduation, if performance expectations are met or exceeded.
Our 10-Week, Summer 2020 Program is a paid internship. Summer Associates are based in either our Washington, DC or Durham, NC offices, with travel opportunities for both client and firm work.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Define long-term business strategy and execution plans for clients
- Analyze market sizes and ROIs to determine future investments
- Segment, target, and position customers to improve sales effectiveness
- Combine insights from primary marketing research with industry, market, and competitive analyses to improve executive decision-making
- Drive organizational change and agile transformation
- Propel personal career with a professional development plan
- Continue to foster the entrepreneurial spirit at CMG
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current undergraduate junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree
- GPA of at least 3.3
- 1-2 years of past internship or relevant work experience
- A clear passion for advising business clients and helping them succeed in meeting their objectives
- Impeccable written communication and presentation skills
- Poised interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel
